I'm Calum, alongside writing these books, I'm a primary school leader with many years spent in the classroom. I wrote the Big Feelings, Little People series because I kept seeing the same thing in my own classrooms and corridors: children who had big emotions but no easy way to talk about them.

These books aren't just bedtime stories — they work well for writing units, assemblies, PSHE, circle time, transition conversations, and as a starting point for talking about feelings with children who find that hard.
